Cathy’s role is to oversee Fielding International’s brand, marketing efforts, communications and media relationships. She leverages her long career in corporate communications to benefit the firm and our clients by ensuring that all marketing efforts are executed with integrity and clarity. She develops proposals, oversees tour website and social media, produces videos and presentations, and is a Media Planner for select projects.
Cathy’s work has helped the firm grow our international client base and to continue our role as thought leaders for 21st century learning and education spaces. Recent projects include reporting for the Minneapolis studio’s many China projects, the production of FI’s latest video, Designing for Student-centered Learning about the Norma Rose Point School in Vancouver, and the creation and maintenance of the FI website. Cathy also lead the successful effort to receive the 2015 MacConnell Award from A4LE, and two 2019 A4LE LEsolutions Awards
Cathy is a graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where she majored in design and media. She began her career in the graphics department at the NBC affiliate KARE, and then was a media designer in marketing services at Deluxe, Inc. before becoming Creative Director at a Minneapolis communications firm. With over twenty years of experience in corporate communications and marketing services, Cathy has produced meetings, videos, digital graphics, web and e-marketing tools for a long list of national and international companies, including Medtronic, UnitedHealth Group, Ecolab, H.B. Fuller and Caterpillar, Inc.
