Senior Architectural Consultant

Hector started his career as an architectural draftsman for George Pearson Architects in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Under his tutelage, Mr. Pearson encouraged him to obtain his architectural degree at an accredited institution. Roger Williams University Architectural program provided a unique learning environment as well as the opportunity to work for some local offices during summer internships.

He joined Urban Design Group in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1992 working on small tier projects. In 1996, he left to gain greater exposure with large-scale projects by working at Arrowstreet Inc., one of the largest architectural firms in Massachusetts. With Arrowstreet he worked on several commercial developments and institutional projects throughout the East Coast.

With a wide range of urban planning and building types, he brings to Fielding International a strong background in project execution, code compliance issues, coordination, and delivery in order to meet project goals. He is currently working with the Rhode Island Studio on projects for Cranston Public Schools. He is known for his practical emphasis on establishing a strong working relationship among the various project participants to satisfy client needs and budget constraints.

Hector’s notable projects include renovations to Independence Hall, University of Rhode Island, Kingston Campus; Block Island Town Hall; new facilities and classrooms for The Norman Bird Sanctuary, Middletown, Rhode Island; The Riverfront Plan, Woonsocket, Rhode Island; and the Harvard University, Oxford Street Parking Facility, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

When he isn’t working you can find him ballroom dancing with his wife Gail, kayaking, and bird watching along the coast of New England.
