Additionally, the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic (e.g. the discontinuation of assessment through standardized testing due to challenges of administering tests remotely and students now learning at their own pace through blended learning models) has shed light on the opportunity for mastery-based learning to be incorporated into a school’s organizational structure.
